Independence

In the fourth and final installment, Maggie and Caleb must tie up all the loose ends of their lives and make a way to be together completely on their own. With everything that happened with Bish and Maggie's father, she's almost reluctant to move on and move out. And now she must figure out all of this...stuff...with Haddock. But of course, nothing can stay simple for the Jacobsons. Enemies who were thought to be dissolved have decided to not go down so easily. And old flames come calling for more than just Maggie. Caleb is torn between leading his family and personal wants. Maggie is torn between Caleb and being the leader of their people. But neither will let what they need most to be pushed to the wayside. They are determined to make it all work, design a plan toward destiny, and make everything right again for themselves and their family.

And then there's a wedding...

*deep sigh* As much as I was looking forward to reading Shelly’s final book to the Significance Series, I didn’t prepare myself for the bittersweatness of it. It’s like saying goodbye to friends that you know you are never going to see again, and that sucks! I can’t imagine writing a series of books and then being done.

This book is by far my favorite one of the series and not just because there’s a wedding, but because it shows the tremendous growth each character has. Not just Caleb and Maggie grow, but Bish and Jen, Kyle and Lynee (well Kyle doesn’t really grow up lol), but you get the idea! There’s so much happening with the clans and all the changes that Caleb and Maggie hope to bring to their world.

But with the good comes the bad, sadly. Though Marcus is now human he can’t get over his infatuation and well grudge with the Jacobson’s. You would think since he’s human he would let it go right? Well he doesn’t. But what does he do this time around? Does he accomplish what he set out to? Do Caleb and Maggie stop him? You’re going to have to read to find that out!

Then there’s the lovely Maggie, the Visionary, is she able to stop the vision she saw of Bish and Jen? How is she handling the responsibility? All we really want is to see Maggie and Caleb happy and married right? Well we all know there’s a wedding, but what else goes on? Nothing can be that easy right? Well Haddock wants to be a part of Maggie’s life, but does she let him? Does Jim know that he’s not Maggie’s biological father? So many questions are answered and then there’s more to added in too!

I can honestly say I love the ending of this book. So more than what I expected and am truly thrilled Shelly ended it this way, I could not be happier. Well actually I could, maybe I could find my Significant and we can umm mutualize!

Ahhh Shelly Crane, I love you! Sad to see this series come to an end.  But so Happy For the HEA for the Jacobson's. can't wait for the movie!!

If you haven't read this series, stop here and go start.

I adore Caleb and Maggie. With the imprints returning (from the last book) all the families are headed home from London. But Beck and Ralph are missing a presumed dead. Maggie and Caleb and a few head back home for the services. However, Maggie gets a vision that they are alive. What happens when she finds them??

Marcus is up to messing with Maggie and Caleb. They are trying to stay on guard, register for classes and plan their Wedding! Also Caleb wants to tell his dad his plans for the future.

Can they do it all?? Will they end Marcus? So many people trying to get in their way.... And Can Caleb and Maggie find their own way as leaders?

Shelly did an awesome Job at wrapping up this series. It's one ill visit over and over!
