No Attachments

Ashton Garrison walked away from a privileged life in order to hide from the one thing she's not willing to face. She knows she left behind a trail of pain, but in the long run, her betrayal will hurt less than the truth. She now has one goal: Live life to the fullest with no regrets and no attachments. She has high hopes that a move to new surroundings will provide the escape she desires, but what Ashton doesn't count on is how fate always seems to find a way to screw up any good plan. Sometimes, when love comes knocking, the pull is too strong not to answer. Suddenly, what she thought she wanted to escape from is what Ashton now wants more than anything.

Nathan Lockton has one mission: find his target and complete the task he was hired to do—no attachments and no emotion necessary. He's done it over and over again. What he thought was a typical lost-and-found job has turned into a life examining moment as Nathan is forced to deal with something he has always ignored--his feelings. Now faced with a decision, Nathan must choose to either follow his heart or complete the job.

Love can come when you least expect it. The question is: If the odds are stacked against you, how far are you willing to go for the one you love?

You would think that after reading every Tiffany King novel I wouldn’t be surprised at how amazing she is, boy was I wrong. Wishing for Someday Soon is my favorite novel by TK but I’m going to have to say No Attachments is definitely level with it. It’s the realness of the story that makes me fall completely in love with it. These are issues that people face on a daily basis and that’s what always captures and holds my attention. Not to mention the magnificent way Tiffany has a way of making you feel each word as if it was happening to you.
Ashton, Love the name btw, ran away from home. Yes she’s an adult, so technically it’s not really running away until you understand why she did it. Then it’s more like an understanding of why she did what she did. She also has this bucket list of things she wants to do and has 2 amazing friends that help her in her quest to check things of said list. I love Brittni, but I have to say Tressa is my favorite of the two. She’s the outspoken friend we all have and though they embarrass us, life wouldn’t be right without them in it. Well one of the things on the list was to have a one night stand. How do you do that in a small town where everyone know everyone? You bang the hot stranger passing through town, that’s how.

“You’re the only one I want to bike with sweetheart,” he said

Nathan. Can I have him please? Seriously the guy is beyond hot and he’s not the typical jerk we’re used to seeing in some books. Nathan has his own secretes but finally laying his eyes on Ashton changes everything he thought he knew. And those rules he had to keep things in check fly out the window. He’s lying to his boss, breaking rules he set for himself, all for what? A No Attachments arrangement that is so much more than they both realize.
So what’s the secret Ashton is hiding from Nathan? What’s Nathan’s secret he’s hiding from Ashton? Is it a secret that’ll tear them apart or bring them closer together in the end? And how does Ashton’s dad fit into all of this? So many questions right? I promise you they do get answered at the end.
Just like every other Tiffany King book, this will have you laughing, crying, laughing, and crying some more. There’s nothing like a Tiffany King book and if you haven’t picked this book up yet you need to get on that because you are seriously missing out.

Tiffany King has done it again! My words for this book: bust out laughing, sweat from the sexiness, and cry from the emotional scenes.
In a word.... LOVED!
A bit about No Attachments:
Ashton and her friends are at a bar and one of the things in her bucket list is to sleep with a guy, with nothing after. Her friends encourage her to try out the guy at the bar. He's the new guy in town, a reporter. That first meeting had me laughing so hard it was funny!
Nathan is in this small town, to investigate the whereabouts of Ashton. But once he meets her, he can't bring himself to turn in his findings.  Ashton and Nathan decide to try out a sexual affair with nothing after. But their dates keep getting messed up.... So much it's comical. They talk back and forth getting to know each other.... But Nathan knows Ashton is hiding something. When her friend mentions she has a bucket list, Nathan panics. Why does she have one? What's her story? And why does she run? Lets just say they both formed attachments that brought tears to my eyes!!
Another wonderful read by Tiffany King! You truly amaze me!
