Fall Guy

Evan Lennox is going nowhere fast.

She's living with her grandparents after her parents bailed on her, she got kicked out of her posh private school, her ex-boyfriend proved to be the biggest sleaze imaginable, her former best friend is a back-stabber, and her current best friend is stuck in backwoods NJ. To top it all off, one teeny, tiny fire she lit to burn some memories of her ex goes a little out of control and winds up igniting a good piece of a very powerful family's pecan orchard.

Evan lands her pampered behind in court and gets sentenced to community service. Which she knows she deserves. But the hard labor and humiliation may be her undoing.

Until she meets Winchester Youngblood on the site.

Everything about him is tricky, confusing, not at all what it seems, and so sexy, Evan can't resist pulling closer. But every
step she takes to get to know him gives her more of a reason to back up and put him as far out of life as she possibly can. Because Winch is one hundred percent complicated, and Evan isn't looking for that. At all. She needs to meet a nice, responsible guy, not share searing kisses with the charming hustler she met after they both got sentenced in court.

But Winch is so much more than what he seems, and Evan finds out that she's falling hard for the guy everyone underestimates and writes off. And Winch realizes that Evan is the one person who's ever challenged him to ask for more out of his life, and her courage inspires him to try to be the person she sees when she looks at him. With every single odd stacked against them, Evan and Winch need to find out whether they have what it takes to fall for each other.

FALL GUY is a New Adult novel. It contains strong language, references to alcohol and drug use, sexual situations, and mature themes.

So Liz Reinhardt definitely knows how to write a page turner not to mention an emotionally filled work of art. I've read all of her books with the exception of one I believe and every single one has me at the edge of my seat and complex captivated. This book was no different..Fall Guy is a New Adult book, meaning in contains content not suited for the younger crowds. I have to say that I love the fact that more authors are writing in this style. Don't get me wrong I love YA but new adult and frankly adult are becoming more and more of my favorite reads! So let me get down to it!

Evan is this girl who’s had a pretty rough life. Her father is a horrible gambler who has no luck unless Evan helped him. When he stopped helping that's when things went downhill for her family. Parents got divorced, mother moves to Mexico with the new guy in her life and that ends Evan with her grandparents. Like most kids, Evan resorts to partying and sex to compensate for the loss of love. A break up with a douchebag has Evan burning some items that turns into a fire, which in turn lands her in the courtroom, where she meets Winch...Winch is a “complicated” guy who finds himself back in the court house to find a girl sitting in front of the court room doors. Captivated by her he helps her inside the court room. He gets called up to stand in front of the judge and gets assigned community service among a few fines. When he goes to leave he hears the girl get called up, Evan, she too gets assigned community service, but not wanting to complicate things, he leaves it at helping her. That is until the first day of community service and they are brought back together, fate maybe?

Winch’s family is very secretive and you have to part of the “circle” to be a part of any of their lives. That is until Evan. Her presence makes Winch question everything, though he tries to stay away, it seems as though fate has another plan in store for the both of them. For every hard step forward Evan makes with Winch, they get knocked back 2 more. Through their struggles and the fact that Evan doesn’t give up, both become better for it. Not to mention the great sex, but you’ll have to read for that! So with Winch’s family consuming his life, will he be able to break away and give himself the shot at a life he wants, a life with Evan?  Go buy the book to find out how sexy Winch really is, oh and what happens of course!

I love Liz's books, so it was no surprise that I loved Fall Guy.  Hey there was a "bad boy" in it.  Well it wasn't all that bad! First.... WINCHESTER as a name.... that's kinda well LONG....but shortening it to WINCH was cute!

Evan is a troubled girl who has come from a rich and weird family.  Her first boyfriend cheated on her so she chooses to think that all guys SUCK. She has a Court date for community service because she started a fire.  This is where she meets WINCH.  :)  WOW she notices an instant connection right away.  Winch sees a beautiful girl that he wants to get to know.  Funny the end up at the SAME community service assignment together.  Winch can't stay away from her and decides to keep this relationship with her to himself.  See his family is into some weird stuff AND his brother, Oh Lord don't get me started with him. Winch often has to save his ass! Remy has so many issues.  Winch pretends to be him and takes the "Fall".  Can Evan get into Winch's life?  He loves her, but will he let her in to his crazy world?  Will they save each other?  And Can Winch stop being the Fall guy?  Read.... you will love it!
