Luck of the Draw

Rowan McKinley isn’t looking for one wild night while vacationing in Vegas, but she gets it anyway when she meets professional poker player—and professional ladies’ man—Breck Wilder. Breck’s easygoing charm and lighthearted banter draw in the reserved Rowan, and though she’s always dreamed of the kind of forever love her best friends Sidney and Kade share, she’ll settle for one night with the charismatic player.

After their crazy one-night stand, Breck never expected to see the mysterious redhead again. So when he shows up at a Shamrock Falls B&B looking to get away for a few weeks and Rowan answers the door, he’s floored. Breck’s rolling-stone lifestyle and ill-fated history with women means he’s not interested in anything long-term. But the longer he stays at the B&B, the more he considers dropping the poker face and putting all his cards on the table…for Rowan.

After reading Lucky Break I was excited for the next book in the Shamrock Falls books by Kelley Vitollo. This is Rowan’s Story.  In Lucky Break we meant Rowan and know that she is working on starting a bed and breakfast on her own.  Luck of the Draw opens with Rowan in Vegas at a hospitality convention.  She meets Breck Wilder and does something uncharacteristic of herself, she sleeps with him, and then leaves before he wakes up.  Rowan goes back home and starts on her business with her bed and breakfast.

Breck Wilder Wakes up without the beautiful redhead beside him, he had been a break from women and now he seems to think that is a good idea.  He calls his friend Jace )yes same friend as Rowans friend, to find a RnR place to get away from the poker circuit.  Where do you think he ends up???? Yep that’s right, at Rowan’s Bed and Breakfast.  Forced to be in the same living quarters, the flirtation is definitely there.  When Rowan faints and has to be taken to the hospital, what are the results she gets, and can she share those with Breck in the six weeks that he is there?  Breck Finds himself falling for Rowan, can he open up and trust after his past?

I found this book sweet and the perfect read.  I already loved the characters from the first book.  I definitely do not want to give away the best parts.  Just I know if you enjoyed Lucky Break, then for sure you will enjoy Luck of the Draw.
