A little something from Dani!

Hey all, I'm going to take over for a little while, lol. Christina doesn't know I'm posting this yet but I thought it would be fun. Most of you may not know how me and Christina became friends, so I thought it would be fun to share the first time we met with you guys.

One of the beautiful things I love about reading is being able to connect with someone else. Since I started using Twitter, Goodreads, Facebook, I've found so many new authors who I absolutely adore, but I also found so many readers like myself. We are all able to connect in a non judgmental way because it's all over the internet. Now some of us has taken that next step at met at book signings or have been friends from the beginning, and that's great! I have been blessed with talking to amazing people and forming bonds of friendships that I will never take for granted. One of those being my friendship with Christina.

We started talking to each other on twitter. In complete honesty I'm not even sure how it came to be, but I think it was over Amy Bartol's Premonition series and both of us being Team Reed. Then it branched out to our love of vampires and wolfs, basically our love of reading. So we started reading together. I had my own blog at the time and just did it to write, not necessarily get the love like all of you are showing us now! I finally was able to convince Christina to join me in the blogging world and that's how Crazy Book Chicks was created!

I live in Las Vegas, Nevada and Christina lives in Anaheim, California so we are somewhat close lol. Well we both love Twilight and as you all now, Breaking Dawn part 2 was released Thursday! We both were going to see it anyways so I decided it was the perfect excuse to go to Cali for the day. *sigh* I didn't count on all the stupid traffic and the I-15 having so much dang construction on it, so I got to Cali later than I wanted. Then my phone died and of course I didn't bring the car charger, so I had to stop and buy a new one, otherwise I would have got lost somewhere and still be in Cali. I finally made it though! Breaking Dawn part 2 was AWESOME. So much better than I thought it was going to be and I might have yelled a few obscenities at the screen. Shocking right?! They totally had me and Christina was laughing at me the entire time I was freaking out! Anyways, here's a few pictures we were able to take along the way before both of our phones died! Enjoy, and thank you so much for showing us love and supporting us.

Special thanks to those authors out there that provide us with reasons to form bonds with strangers. None of this would be possible without you!

Poor Christina was forced to listen to some horrible Christmas music. Seriously. I like Christmas music but the music that was playing, smh, horrible. Love that she got there super early and secured some us an awesome spot in line!

You can't really see it in the pic, but the 10 o'clock showing line started up at the beginning of the fountains. There was about 20 people in front of us, at first.

Then there is me. While Christina was waiting in line, I was stuck driving. Lol I love to drive but by this time I was already ready to just be there. I felt bad that she was all by herself and I was hungry lol.

Then I got there! Yay! This is the first time we met, so we had to document the epicness in  a picture! SO this is us, we are the CRAZY BOOK CHICKS!

This is Colton. He was patrolling the line making sure all us #Twihards stayed complacent and didn't cause drama about being #TeamEdward or #TeamJacob. hahah not really but he did have to walk up and down the ridiculously long line! I'm pretty sure he thought we were stalking him or something lol.

And these are some of Christina's friends that joined us a little before we got to go into the movie theater. So much fun seriously! We had so many people join us that we took up a full row and a half. Epic journey to an Epic ending of one of the best Sagas! So this is us, we hope have an awesome weekend and Thanksgiving holiday!
